Became a second time uncle today! Dada (Tej - my elder brother) and Iteima (sis-in-law) Mona's first child was born today at 10:38 AM IST (01:08 AM Eastern). It's a baby boy and weighs 3 kg. His nickname is Buju.

Today (24 Feb) is my birthday. This week was crazy and today I had two presentations back to back. In the morning, I called my family. In the evening, my friends threw me a surprise party!!!

I went to my favorite restaurant, had my favorite food (butter chicken), and my favorite cake (blackforest). Above that, I had the company of great friends and got lots of presents too :). What more could I ask for? :)

Thanks ML, Farial, Farzona, Nikhil, Manish, Chris, Kirby, Krys, Michael, Jiun-Fei, and Yi-Jung for taking time off from your busy schedule to attend the party!

And thanks to all my friends, family and everybody who wished me today.

Today (24 Feb) is my birthday. Happy Birthday to me! :)

Had a small midnight birthday party at 12 am. Slept at 3 am. Had class from 9:40 am to 12:20 pm. Got lots of wishes (phonecalls and emails) from friends and family. Had great food. Watched Page 3. It was a nice movie.

Today (Aug 11) is Manish Yadav's B'day. It is also Sampath Telikicherla's and Sarath Dandala's birthday.

Today is Cheche Naobi's birthday. Wished her at 12 am sharp.

Today is Myla Perez's b'day. Mai is from the Philippines and we met on the internet sometime in March 2000 and have been good friends since. Of course, I have not met her in person yet.

Today is Sonia Baby Sarangthem's B'day. Sonie was my classmate in Manipur Public School (1995-1997). She recently completed her M. Plan. (Masters in Planning) from School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), New Delhi.

Today (June 9) is Shubha Chadaga's birthday. Went to her b'day party yesterday night. The party was low-profile and it was fun. The cake was great!

Tamo (Riten - my eldest brother) and Iteima (sis-in-law) Remika's first child was born today at around 1:45 PM Indian Standard Time (4:15 AM US Eastern Time). It's a baby boy! Weight is 3.5 kgs. Name not yet decided. Other details awaited.

The baby boy is the first grandchild of my parents. He is also the first child in our family after a long period of time (25+ years). My monopoly as the last child of the family is finally broken!!!

Today (May 6) is Faezeh's birthday. Yesterday night, there was a sort of small surprise party.

Today is my birthday. Asked Manish not to invite anybody. Last year, my birthday was real noisy and I could not really enjoy most of it. So, this year I wanted a peaceful birthday.

Manish brought a cake. Vasun and Shubha came first. Nikhil came around 11:40 PM (yesterday night). Cut the cake at 12 am according to Cingular time! Because all of us (Me, Manish, Nikhil, Shubha) are Cingular customers! Ila came a little later. Got couple of birthday phone calls. Got SMS messages from Cheche Bheman, Cheche Naobi, Sne, Tamo and Iteima. Sne called up from India. That was a real surprise. Never expected that call. Felt good.

Shubha, Vasun and Ila left around 1 am. Damu came over at 1:30 am. He remembered that it was my birthday but he thought that we were not celebrating. Pady also called that time and he wished me. Talked lots about lots of things. Damu and Nikhil left around 3 am.

Called Cheche Naobi, Tamo, Sne. Could not contact Cheche Bheman, Iteima and home. Slept at around 5 am. Got lots of birthday wish emails - from Lavs, Bhanu, Prashanth, bS, Bhavani, Krishna, Soumya, Swaroop, Meena, Sanjoy, Dhrub.

In the morning, Anuj and Sampath called and wished me. Met Tina at the bus-stop and she wished me too. Nothing special during the day.

At night, came back and did not have much to eat. Decided that could not have Maggi - at least not on my birthday! Nikhil and I went to Papa John's and bought 2 large pizzas. We also bought some chicken wings. The wings were great!

Baba called from home at around 11 pm. It seems that home phone is not working. So, I was not able to contact them. He wished me. Bhavani called too and she wished me. Cheche Bheman also called from India. Was able to contact Iteima at around 11:45 pm, just before my birthday ended. She was going to office with Tamo.

Thus ended Bob's birthday :). After 12 am, browsed some internet and slept...

Today [19 July] is Cheche Naobi's birthday. Called home. Talked with Cheche Naobi, Dada, Mama and Baba. Cheche Naobi told me that Iche Remi had called up. Tamo is busy with some work. Cheche Bheman had not called up yet.

Used 2 phone cards. The first one had only 10 mins of talk time left. Bought a $8 India-Tele-Bridge card from callnation but it is not working properly. The access number is different from last time. Have to email customer care if the card does not work properly tomorrow also.
