it is working. i tried now. initially when i re-activated it asked so many questions as a new account. i got scared that i would have lost all my messages but all messages are there with 25 MB :-) thanks to the guy who posted this.

That's just amazing. We really need to thank the person who share this information. Now I have a size of 250MB.
N.B: To have a size of 250MB you get to check at least one of the boxes that are edisplayed (for example computer hardware..)

After relogin , you can change back your profile to old one and the account size stays same(25MB)

Works just fine, if you read the email sent by hotmail when you reactivate your account you will find that your may have 25megs which should be increased to the full 250 within 30 days....provided you login YADA YADA YADA....still 25 megs is great way better than piddly 2 megs from before.....plus still have all my MAIL!!! YAY

Works great. Do NOT worry about losing your email. as soon as you reactivate your account, it's all there. Also, the email from the hotmail staff says that within 30 days, your space will be bumped up to 250 MB so just be patient after that.

Another thing, just like the guy before me said, no need to use Florida. I used my Ohio zip code where I live and it works just as well.

Yes, It worked fine for me. Initially all accounts will be 25 MB but it takes 30 days to increase it automatically to 250 MB. Please read the Hotmail welcome mail, the first one in your Inbox after relogging in.. They have written that down. We need to check the account regularly in this period.

after the inbox size is 25MB. maintain the country as US only, the hotmail inbox size will increase to 250MB.

That was awesome..I was waiting for this for the last 5 months or so.. My hotmail inbox size just popped up to 25Mb by following your procedure. Thanks friend. One more thing. As soon as I logged off and logged on again.. the inbox size surprisingly jumped to 250Mb.. though MSN says.. it takes about 30 days for the inbox size to be increased to 250Mb.. mine took 30 seconds..
