Getting free airline miles is always a great idea. I follow the Points Guy blog and he posts interesting tips from time to time. One of them is the American Airlines (AA) Appraiser email promo. I tried it out and got 1,000 free AA miles. The Points Guy got 1,500 miles and many of the visitors to his blog said they got between 1,000 to 2,500 free AA miles.
